From there the roles kept on coming, with notable turns in The Young Victoria, The Adjustment Bureau, Looper, Edge Of Tomorrow, Sicario and The Muppets – to name but a few.
Emily also landed herself another Bafta nomination in 2017 for her turn in yet another book adaptation – playing the troubled main character in the screen version of best-seller The Girl On The Train.
The actress, who hails from Wandsworth, was born on February 23 1983, one of four children and the daughter of a teacher and a barrister.
